I sing because I have come to terms with the eternity of an instant,
and to Him I am dedicated ... with all my love.
When words fail me because my emotions do not permit me to speak,
I rely on the mutant strength of my art which is able to register
the moments that can no longer return.
I sing in order to speak to God,
to exorcise through my prayers all violence and lies.
I sing in order to reach hope, understand the meaning of silence,
and survive the spoken word.
I sing in order to share with you
the dreams that will keep away the solitude
because I suffer of nostalgia and cannot find the words to express them.
It is in order to feel free that I love to sing.
